This is a website about the achievements of a few in aid of the many.
Do you love dogs?…WE DO! We love them so much that we have chosen to devote our time, skills, creativity and money to helping as many as we can of society’s rejects! We call them Diamond dogs; Delightful Dogs; Terrific Terriers and Sweet Staffies. We continue to successfully help many…Our strength is Our Dogs; Our Team and Our Homers. We are never daunted our team motto is ‘onwards and upwards…ever upwards!
So this site is dedicated to celebrate our celebrity dogs!

Welcome to our work; our mission; our huge task; our service! This website shows the outcomes of diligence; genius and hard hard graft. We are a small rescue that is run on a wing and a prayer! Do you want to understand more about what is happening to the surplus dogs in our society? Yes England, where we have the reputation of being the most caring nation, putting their animals into the heart of our families. Sadly we see a different side to our society; our throwaway culture, sometimes fear driven and sometimes simply cruel. Large rescue organisations have become callous and almost casual in applying the death sentence to hundreds of healthy dogs despite their wealth. Rescue Remedies is run by 2 health professionals who dedicate every day to support up to 50 dogs that we have taken into our care. Each dog gains a life-giving chance, receiving vet care and neutering during the transition from initial rescue into their forever homes. We are supported by a team of volunteers, for example creating and updating our websites and offering our dogs vet care at cost when they need it. Others work full time and get home to spend each evening on the computer making sure our dogs are on all the different websites or give up regular mornings or weekends to meet our kennel dogs, walk them or take them out for the day. Our fundraisers plan and bake for stalls at various fairs to raise awareness of our work and also much needed funds. Admin. Support helps with the background paperwork, telephone liaison work and increasing donations. No one gets paid, no one claims expenses, and we all give our time and effort to the dogs. Then there are those who donate money adhoc, anonymously or by standing orders supporting us to pay our vet and kennel bills. We have no money in the bank. It flows straight out to help the next dog and the next after that.

Can you help us to help homeless dogs who have run out of time? Yes, they have just 7 days for their owners to find them if they care. Can you help us help those families who can’t find accommodation to accept their pets and need to know they are going to be safe and loved? So many stories of woe but hey, lets look on the brightside which is why we have set up this website to rejoice and show those dogs we stood there for, sometimes accumulating huge kennel bills. Yes they do find golden homes! Perhaps it was thanks to you playing a part, putting up our posters or filling in our homing questionnaire for someone who doesn’t have computer skills. Our dogs will find their homes; they are loved now and forever whatever their breed! Yes they are!
